Attorney Thomas M. Bell
When your freedom is at stake, you need a lawyer with the skill and experience to fight for your rights at the negotiation table and in the courtroom.
My name is Thomas M. Bell, and since 1986, I have represented clients in Jacksonville and throughout Northeast Florida who face serious criminal charges in the federal and state courts. My extensive trial experience helps my clients at all stages of their cases, from charging decisions to plea negotiations and, if necessary, to trial. I represent clients facing complex family law issues such as dissolution of marriage and child custody matters as well as domestic violence.
My legal career spans more than a quarter of a century. I was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1986 and spent six years as an assistant public defender. I formed Corse and Bell in 1991 and then Corse, Bell and Miller in 1993. I started my own solo practice in 1997. I am past president of the Northeast Chapter of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NEFACDL) and have an AV* Preeminent Peer Review rating through Martindale-Hubbell.
As a solo practitioner, I am able to give each of my clients the hands-on attention they need and deserve from their lawyer. When you hire me for your case, you will always work directly with me. I will never pass your case off to an associate or paralegal.
